IMO, most guard rails we see at tracks are pretty dangerous and sure hold up the show when they break and they have to pull out the welder. The wall is the best way to go.

i love the outside concrete with nothing on the bottom, keeps the cars on the track, and if the spin to the inside keeps the race going, plus cars have an area to pull in too...

Many cars have gone over the end in the past ,even flipped and no one has ever been hurt. These cars were able to return to the track. You put up a wall of concrete and you will have many cars totaled out and maybe some drivers hurt. Why try to fix something that is not broken?
Billy Pate is a prime example> See what the concrete wall did to him.

the hell with destroying a race car. oilcan is right the track has been lucky noone has been hurt in the past.wall for sure,and the way i hear it ,it was the coner of the wall that did the damage to billy pate.
