SPRING CITY, TN – Mountain View Raceway will take a week off, so there will be no racing on the ¼-mile high banked clay oval this Saturday night, October 9. The track will return to action on Saturday night, October 16 with all the seven Weekly Divisions in action, plus three events that were rescheduled from October 2.

The 2021 Mountain View Raceway Champions will be crowned on October 16 for the Late Model, Sportsman, Beginner Sportsman, Open-Wheel Modified, B-Hobby, Thunder and Front-Wheel-Drive Divisions. The Junior Front-Wheel-Drive Division will be in competition for kids 15 years of age and younger.

There are also three events that were rained out on October 2 that will be added to the October 16 show at Mountain View Raceway. The Front-Wheel-Drive will run the B Feature that was postponed on October 2, and the B-Hobby Division will run Double Features to make up their postponed race on October 2. The V-8 and Four Cylinder Pretty In Pink Powder Puff Races that were postponed by the rain on October 2 have been rescheduled for October 16.

The final race of the 2021 season will take place on October 30 with the 2nd Annual Trunk Or Treat Race. There will be a $1,000-to-win 75-Lap Enduro, a Demolition Derby, plus racing action for the Late Model, Sportsman, Beginner Sportsman, Open-Wheel Modified, B-Hobby, Thunder, and Front-Wheel-Drive Divisions.

Rules for the Enduro Race and the Demolition Derby are available on the track web site at mountainviewraceway.com under Rules. Competitors interested in competing in those two events are encouraged to get familiar with the rules.
