ADAIRSVILLE, GA – Tri County Speedway in Flomaton, AL and Northwest Florida Speedway in Baker, FL have signed up to be a part of the 2020 Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series. The two tracks have entered into an agreement to work together and alternate weekends with three Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Divisions.

Both tracks will feature the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Late Model 604 Division, the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Street Stock Division, and the Newsome Raceway Parts Late Model Sportsman 602 Division. Drivers in each Division will compete for both a Track Points Fund and a National Points Fund.

Tri County Speedway is located at 2988 Old Highway 31, in Flomaton, AL. For more information, call 251-236-0282m or visit their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/TriCountySpeedway18/.

“This is going to be a good thing because working with Northwest Florida Speedway we’re going to give more racers more places to race,” Tri County Speedway Promoter Isaiah Day said. “We’re committed to working with Northwest Florida Speedway in building the Late Model 604 Division and the Late Model Sportsman 602 Division, and I think we can also grow the Street Stock Division with other tracks in the area. Being sanctioned with Crate Racin’ USA gives a lot of racers a consistent set of rules so they can race at multiple tracks without having to buy different tires and make changes to their race cars.”

Northwest Florida Speedway is located at 7703 Highway 189 North, in Baker, FL. For more information call 850-712-6166, or visit their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/nwflspeedway/.

“I think it’s going to be a good move for Northwest Florida Speedway to partner with Tri County Speedway under the Crate Racin’ USA sanction to keep a level playing field,” Northwest Florida Speedway Race Director Buddy Stephens said. “We’re going to concentrate mainly on the Late Model Sportsman 602 Division, and we’re also planning on doing some special Late Model 604 Division races.”

The Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series features a 27-week season that runs from March 23 through September 27. A driver’s best 14 weekly point totals count as their season total. For the 2020 Newsome Raceway Park Crate Racin’ USA Late Model Division National Champion, the top prize is $10,000.

The Top 10 drivers in each Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series Division earn a seat at the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA Annual Awards Banquet next January in Gatlinburg, TN to receive a point fund check, a Hoosier Racing Tire Jacket, and Point Fund check.
