|USCS 2019 wins leader Mark Smith (11 wins) has been nominated for National Sprint Car Hall of Fame 2019 “Wild Card Driver of the Year”.
Atlanta, GA - December 6, 2019 – The United Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters congratulates frequent USCS competitor and the series’ 2019 feature wins leader, Mark Smith from Sunbury, Pennsylvania on his nomination for the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame 360 sprint car “Wild Card Driver of the Year”. Mark Smith topped the United Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters wins column with 11 (Eleven) trips to the www.rockauto.com USCS Victory Lane. Additionally, Smith who is Co-Founder and Owner of the Mach 1 Chassis, Inc. led the Nation in winged 360 sprint car victories with 14 wins during the 2019 season.
Smith competed in just half of the USCS National events, but that was good enough with the performances he had to finish in seventh place in the final USCS Outlaw Thunder point standings. Mark Smith's 11wins in 2019 USCS competition led all winners. He had 11 wins, 19 top-five and 20 top-ten finishes in USCS events. Quite a dominating 2019 performance.
Mark Smith and Mach 1 Chassis, Inc. were additionally nominated for the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame 2019 “Builder/Manufacturer” Award as well. The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame’s 360 sprint car Builder/Manufacturer of the Year Award is voted on annually by the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame pollsters and honors the builder or manufacturing company or individual that has most impacted winged 360 cubic inch sprint car racing through their efforts.
