Tennessean, Mike Hall captures 2019 and 1st www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series Championship



Atlanta, GA - November 16, 2019 – Mike Hall from Knoxville, Tennessee captured the 2019 and 8th annual www.RockAuto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series Championship for winged Mini/Micro sprints. Hall who was the 2018 www.RockAuto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series Rookie of the Year was the top points collector after a rain-shortened season that included eleven completed USCS events to top the series standings. Hall had seven top five and eight top ten finishes to top the 2019 point standings.

The defending and 2018 series Champion, Bobby Zaiontz from Columbus, Mississippi, who is a three-time www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series National Champion and a stalwart veteran competitor in the series claimed the runner-up spot in the 2019 title chase at the end of the season. The veteran driver registered a string of solid finishes along the way while gathering up five top five finishes.

Phenomenal thirteen-year-old young gun, Trynt Lloyd from Jacksonville, Florida finished in third place in the standings. Lloyd was a three-time feature winner. Navarre, Florida’s Jim Kradel finished in the fourth position in the standings while another three-time feature winner, Robby Hoffman from Lithia, Florida rounded out the top five in the standings.

Robby Hoffman’s team-mate and car-owner, Dirk Miller who had one win on the season from Sanford, Florida, finished sixth in the standings followed by three-time feature winner, Kyle Amerson from Mathews, Alabama in seven place. Hoffman and Miller’s other team-mate, David Hall from Casselberry, Florida followed in eighth place. Former USCS 600 Southern region Champ, Bob Trapino from Alpharetta, Georgia followed in ninth place and Jim Kradel’s team-mate, Jim McNulty, also from Navarre, Florida rounded out the top ten in the 2019 final point standings..

Five different drivers won www.RockAuto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series main events including Trynt Lloyd, Jacksonville, FL (3), Kyle Amerson, Matthews, AL (3), Robby Hoffman, Lithia, FL (3), Dirk Miller, Ocala, FL (1) and Jimmy McClain, Clarksville, TN (1). Win totals are in parenthesis after their names.
