http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/05/25/trump-strikes-deal-with-china-over-zte.html

Trump sells out the American worker and American security! Art of the deal my a$$!!

Marco Rubio says-

@marcorubio
Yes they have a deal in mind. It is a great deal... for #ZTE & China. #China crushes U.S. companies with no mercy & they use these telecomm companies to spy & steal from us. Many hoped this time would be different. Now congress will need to act.

Let's see a $1.3 BILLION fine, most of the parts they are buying MUST come from American manufacturers. Thousands of US jobs saved.

Entire management team at company changed with US oversight.

Alternative: company goes bankrupt, US workers laid off due to loss of market. China continues it violation of sanctions with no US oversight in what they are doing.

Never seen so many people upset over the saving of 10s of thousands of US jobs.

Just curious-how was the ZTE deal working out for the American people during the Obama years?

Trump caved on his plan to impose tariffs, and the result is that China is winning big-time.

As long as there is a United States of America there will be issues in the trade dynamics. I find it difficult to understand why anyone would support the practices of companies that sell products that our Pentagon has already banned from usage on the grounds of any of our military and intelligence assets. You can bet that the Chinese spies are just tickled pink over all this ZTE embracement from the world's greatest leader of all time. I can imagine the howling from the rightwingnuts if a Democratic politico had done EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE LIL DONNIE did. There would be no end to it.

And the investigations continue,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

In a direct challenge to President Trump, Sen. Marco Rubio suggested Sunday that Congress would take steps to prevent the Chinese tech firm ZTE from being able to operate in the United States.

Trump had announced last week that he would allow the telecom giant to ”reopen,” in a stunning reversal after the United States had imposed crippling penalties on the company for sanctions violations.

In an appearance on CBS News’s “Face the Nation,” Rubio (R-Fla.) said there is “a growing commitment in Congress to do something about what China is trying to do to the United States” and that “one of the things that Congress will do is . . . not even allow Chinese telecom companies to operate in the United States.”

“None of these companies should be operating in this country,” he said, also naming the Chinese telecom firm Huawei. “None of them.”

Rubio has been a leader of the congressional charge against Trump’s plans to ease the restrictions on ZTE that were imposed after it broke U.S. sanctions by selling products to Iran and North Korea. As part of a deal reached last week with ZTE, the firm would be required to buy American-made parts and pay a $1.3 billion fine.

But lawmakers like Rubio remain unconvinced that the terms will do anything to keep China from using companies like ZTE to target U.S. national and corporate security.

“They are used for espionage . . . whether it’s routers or anything else, they embed stuff in there that could be used to spy against us, not just for national security,” Rubio said. “T do it through a business deal, they steal it from you.”

The senator did not go into specifics about what kind of legislative measure Congress might pursue to block the president. The annual defense authorization bills being considered in Congress already contain a prohibition on the federal government using Huawei and ZTE products. Rubio has also proposed legislation that would do the same, as well as ban sales of intellectual property and “national security sensitive technology” to China.

But on Sunday, the senator seemed to suggest that Congress should go even further. He guessed that there would be ample support among lawmakers to overcome any potential veto from the president.

“I believe it’ll have a supermajority,” Rubio said. “I think most members of Congress have come to understand the threat China poses.”

China often projects a willingness and commitment to do right by the USA. But what they do indicates a total commitment to destroy us by any means necessary. How many of you believe that the USA could actually win any war with the Chinese? Any agreement that the USA could possibly win any war against the Chinese is no more than an admission of total ignorance of the capabilities of all of the nations that hold the USA in total contempt of the agreements and understandings that have been long held and the actual abilities of the USA to overtake the ambitions of our adversaries.

And the investigations continue,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

The art of making a reasonable deal in international relationships is far above the capabilities of the djt. He has no clues whatsoever in how those relationships are formulated or pursued. Even China with their own limitations are kicking the lil' djt's azz at every opportunity. Pay attention. It's happening before your very eyes and ears. Sad, ain't it?
