Jake Knowles Pilots New Car to First Win of 2018
Durrence Layne Dirt Late Model Series Double Dip on Tap

Rome, Georgia (05/15/18 ) – Jake Knowles debuted a new Knowles Race Parts & Bodies #66 Longhorn Chassis Late Model in fine style on Saturday night at Boyd’s Speedway.

The talented 32-year-old racer took the car to Victory Lane on its maiden voyage.

“It was a crazy-busy week getting the new Longhorn ready for action, but it definitely paid off,” Knowles said. “So many people helped me get ready in time for this week’s show, and I can’t thank them enough for their support. It’s a great feeling anytime you can win the first night out with a new car, and it definitely feels awesome to get the first win of the year.”

Debuting a brand-new Longhorn Chassis #66 Crate Late Model, Jake Knowles visited Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) on Saturday evening, where he was competing in a field of 15 cars.

Jake started the night by laying down the third-fastest time in qualifying. He then streaked to a heat race victory, which earned him the pole position for the feature.

Leading flag-to-flag in the finale, Jake Knowles cruised to his first win of the season topping Drew Kennedy, Rick Hixson, Heath Hindman, and Josh Walker at the line.

On Saturday evening Cochran Motor Speedway (Cochran, Georgia) will host a $4,000-to-win program.
