Newnan, Georgia (04/18/1 Cool – Newnan, Georgia's Austin Horton is the newest addition to the MSR Mafia team and a brand-new website has been launched at www.AustinHorton16.com .

Horton had a breakout season in 2017, when he was crowned both the Southern All Star (SAS) Dirt Racing Series Champion and Rookie of the Year.

Austin has hit the ground running in 2018, and in limited starts he's already claimed a Super Late Model win and a Crate Late Model win.
In fact he won last Saturday night with his Vic Hill-powered #16 Orr’s Towing Super Late Model at Georgia’s Senoia Raceway.

The remainder of the season will find Horton splitting his time between his Wood Motorsports #16 Super K Express/ XR1 Rocket Chassis by Clint Smith Racing Super Late Model and Crate Late Model.

The team will be idle this weekend before returning to action on April 27-28 with a big weekend at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama). Austin will compete in a $2,000-to-win NeSmith Dirt Late Model Series event on Friday night and a $2,500-to-win program with the series on Saturday night.

In addition, he’ll enter the $4,000-to-win, Southern All Star (SAS) Dirt Late Model Series event on Saturday night.
