Does the exoneration of 1 accused rapist forgive all of the others on a free pass?

And the investigations continue,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Sometime i think he argues the point just to argue.

I personally know of a similar story except this man was not lucky enough to have the woman's text messages.

Even with that two prosecutors in the DA's office looked at the case and said they cannot find evidence to prosecute.

However a female prosecutor in the office went ahead with the case and was able to keep key evidence out of testimony. Such as the woman has a history of making false claims and even lied to her former husband about being pregnant in order to get him to marry her.

First it cost him 7 years of his life and now he is unable to attend activities with his kids and his kids cannot have friends stay over.

He was awarded a new trial his last month before we was to be released, but by then he just wanted to get on with his life and move on.

The number of guilty ones who walk is probably still higher than the number of people who are wrongly convicted. Just a hunch.

You talking about those who have been through a trial, or just those who should be brought to trial?

Trials, even criminal ones, are generally won or lost more in accordance with the quality of the representations rather than actual guilt or not. Lot's of crooks walk scott free and many innocents serve hard time for crimes they never even dreamed about.

Both, really. It's hard to prove a person guilty in court without incredibly strong evidence, and a good criminal will know how to cover his tracks.

I've served on jury duty 6 times in my life including 1 capital murder trial. I've been afforded very good insight into what actually happens in jury trials. I've seen a few good decisions and a few very wrong decisions. The quality of the representations of whichever side you may focus on is paramount in the final decision making. The guilt or not is very seldom the determining factor involved. I think that is very sad but it is the system that we have and the lawyers milk it for every drop they can get out of it.

And the investigations continue,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

In and around the Memphis area the typical lawyer charges between $150 and $225 per billed hour. The sharpest of the courtroom slick lawyers can command as much as 5 or 10 thousand per billed hour. Incredible!!!!!!!!
