Jesse Lowe Ends 2017 with 23 Victories; Hangover to Open 2018

Crossville, Tennessee (11/30/17) – Jesse Lowe brought down the curtain on the 2017 season behind the wheel of his Xtreme Pressure Washing #5j Hampton Backhoe Service/ CVR/ Eagle Racing Engine Late Model on Saturday evening.

411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) on Saturday night was the scene of the final event of 2017 for Jesse Lowe and his race team as they entered the second annual Leftover. In a field of 33 Crate Late Models, Lowe locked his spot into the $1,500-to-win A-Main with the sixth-fastest time in qualifying.

Rolling off sixth, Jesse improved three spots in the 30-lapper to place third behind Logan Roberson and Greg Martin with Rusty Ballenger and Vic Hill completing the Top-5 finishers.

“We had an excellent car, we just got a little behind early in the night and spotted some good drivers starting spots in front of us in the feature on a very slick track,” Lowe recounted. “We’ll take a third though. It’s been an awesome year. We hope to add some more sponsors to our team for next year so that we can travel to some bigger racers around the area. Anyone, who might be interested in sponsoring our team can reach me at LoweMotorsports@gmail.com .”

Jesse ends the 2017 season with 23 wins as well as the track championship at Tennessee’s Crossville Speedway. He claimed the Rookie of the Year title with the United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA) and also finished in the runner-up position in the series’ final standings.

Jesse was also recently selected by DirtOnDirt.com as one of 2017’s Most Improved Drivers.

Lowe now turns his focus to the 2018 campaign, which will open on January 1 with the annual Hangover at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) before heading to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) to compete in the annual Ice Bowl on January 4-7.
