Tyler Clem Ends 2017 with a Bang

St. Petersburg, Florida (11/30/17) – 15-year-old, Tyler Clem entered one final event on the 2017 season on Sunday night, and he made the most of the opportunity by taking his Hedman Hedders #14 Rent-N-Roll/ Rocket Chassis to Victory Lane.

The win marked his 8th of the season.

Tyler Clem brought his 2017 season to a close on Sunday with a trip to the familiar confines of Bubba Raceway Park (Ocala, Florida), where he was competing against a field of 21 Super Late Models in the 5th annual Leftover Classic.

Passing three cars in his heat race, Tyler streaked to a heat race victory, positioning him the on the pole for the feature. Pacing the field from the drop of the green flag in the caution-plagued finale – which was shortened due to a time limit – Clem cruised to his eighth win of the season. Shan Smith, Bruce Harvey, Richard Ferry, and Nevin Gainey completed the Top-5 finishers.

“I hated to see the feature get cut short because of cautions and the time limit, but it’s awesome to end the season with another win,” Clem said. “This gives us some momentum heading into the off-season. I’m really looking forward to 2018, and I want to say a very special thank you to everyone, who helps make this program possible.”
