ADAIRSVILLE, GA – Week 25 of the Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series will feature eight Saturday night Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division races in five different states. There will be a pair of Double Feature Make-Up races scheduled for Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS and Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson, MS.

At Hattiesburg Speedway, the first Feature Race will be a Week 2 Make-Up Race and the second Feature Race will be the Week 25 race. At Jackson Motor Speedway, the first Feature Race will be a Week 22 Make-Up Race and the second Feature Race will be the Week 25 race.

Week 25 Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division races are also scheduled for Camden Speedway in Camden, TN, Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS, Needmore Speedway in Norman Park, GA, Southern Raceway in Milton, FL, Thunderhill Raceway in Summertown, TN, and Thunder Valley Speedway in Glenmora, LA.

For drivers trying to plan out the last five weeks of the 2019 Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division season, we have compiled a master schedule listed below of Weeks 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29 based on the tracks’ web sites and Facebook pages. These schedules are subject to change on a daily basis, so be sure to check out the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division Preview each week for updates.

With five more weeks still left in the Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series 2019 season, the battle for the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division National Championship is still up for grabs. With Week 26 being the last week for tracks to schedule a Double Feature event, the title hunt and the Top 10 points fund paying positions will begin to come into better focus after that.

Mike Lane of Wing, AL leads the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division National standings with a best 14-week total of 697 points. Lane is now netting on 49s, which means he needs three more 50-point wins to reach the Perfect Season mark of 700 points. Lane has a three point lead in the standings going into Week 25 competition.

Jason Baker of Addison, AL is second in the National standings and is still very much in the championship battle going into Week 25 action. Baker has a best 14-week total of 694 points, and Baker will be trying to net on a 48 in Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division Week 25 competition.

The next three drivers in the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division National standings will have to get up on the wheel to keep their title hopes alive. The defending Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock World Champion T.J. Herndon of Atwood, TN, Hayden Moran of Covington, LA and Eddie Rhinehart of Lawrenceburg, TN are tied for the third spot.

Each driver has a best 14-week total of 685 points. Herndon will be trying to net on a 46, Moran will be trying to net on a 45, and Rhinehart will be trying to net on a 48. The tie-breaker is determined on the number of 50-point wins. Herndon has seven wins, Moran has five wins, and Rhinehart has four wins in 2019 Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division competition.

Drivers racing in Durrence Layne Weekly Racing Series events compete for both a Track point fund and a National point fund. Drivers compete against drivers racing at Durrence Layne Racing sanctioned tracks across the country using a National points system over a 29-week season that concludes on October 13.

A driver’s best 14 weekly point totals count as their season total. Once a driver reaches 14 weeks of competition, they start trying to net points by replacing the lowest weekly total among their best 14 weekly totals with a higher one. A driver can only count their best point total each week as their total for that week.

The top ten drivers in the Durrence Layne Performance Parts Street Stock Division National point standings will earn a seat at the Durrence Layne Racing Annual Awards Banquet to receive a point fund check and a trophy.
