How many Classes of Hot Laps and Qualifying will there be, Before the 1st Heat Race? When will the Facilities Management team, understand how Many laps will be turned before Actual racing takes place?? Example for easy math: 100 Car's with the Minimum of 4 Hot Laps = 400 laps on the racingSurface. This is also a Nationwide Dirt track issue. It doesn't make sense to Dry out, Rut Up, and have the track surface narrowed to almost 1 Lane before the 1st Feature. Not all tracks have this issue, especially on a normal race night. Cut out the Qualifying or Heat Race's for your Higher paying Classes! Wake Up and Listen to your Customer's, track Management and business Ownership!!

I know they run all those classes because it brings in back gate money I understand that but what they don't understand is they could run half that many classes draw the same amount of cars and not pay out any more money look at the race tracks that have been in business for years most only run 3 or 4 classes most people don't want to sit at a race track 8 hrs.

For the Fans that don't like a lot of Racing they will let you leave anytime you want to, and they run the bigger classes feature first so you can do that! Very good race track and facility.

The classes are done for the driver's in the area. Not enough tracks are even around this area for them to race. If a class wants to start Bob gives them a chance. If you have 2 or 3 weeks where you are only getting 2-6 cars your class is cancelled. If you show up, you end up with the big payouts.

Most of the fans around here like the support classes just as much as the Super Late Models. Some of the best racing comes from the street stock or pony classes.

Not to mention Bob always makes sure to run the Main event features first to get people out of the track at a decent hour. Those that want to stay to watch the rest of the events and DON'T mind staying throughout the night can.

If you have never been to Duck River I would recommend it, it's a great show 90 percent of the time and barring any uncontrollable set backs, you are usually out at a decent hour. The races are non stop and cars are lined up at the gate before they even come out onto the track. Also the track holds up extremely well for all the cars that race on it. The Sam Pugh Memorial race had over 150 total cars and almost full fields in every class but still produced great racing in all classes. The late model race had two racing lanes, top and bottom. If other classes want to race and they show up? LET THEM! I don't see an issue with it. More bang for your buck as a fan if you ask me.

I can tell you this... with 150 cars at the Big race a couple Sundays ago, I was on the road headed home by 12:30. That to me is a late night even though it is only 5 1/2 hours worth. If i wanted to leave after the Super's Special I would have been on the road by 11, which is 4 hours. Nascar races 1 race and lasts for 4 hours. I didn't make it to the track last night, but I did see that racing was over by around 10 o clock. Show me somewhere else where that happens.

This is an unneeded debate. As I had said, support your local tracks. At this rate neither of us will change the other's minds.

ALSO. Keep in mind this race will be 2 days long. Not all classes will be racing each night.

That's wrong I left after the super race on Sunday before Labor Day and it was almost midnight and that was just the 3rd feature you still had about 6 more to run you can tell that to people that wasn't there.

Anyone know of anyone coming to this race? I know the World 100 got moved to this date. Wondering if anyone will skip out to come to Duck? Really good payout for this show. Thoughts?
