Yeah, lots of them... why do you think the economy is great? Unemployment low and the people very happy with the direction of the country? 77% ya know... I know you hate it, but it is what it is... Let me give you a hint, 52% of Democrats are happy with Trumps economy... 74% of Independents and 95% of Republicans..... all happy with Trump economy.... can you spell "getting your azz handed to you this coming fall?" Things are a little shaky because a lot of people don't get what Trump is doing with the tariff deal, but once they figure that out, then Kattie bar the door.... what people don't get is our economy depends on them some, but their economy depends on us entirely . really very simple, we got the money as consumers... has nothing to do with what is borrowed or owed, this is simple market action... we are the purchasing powerhouse... we can make everything we buy over seas... we don't need them and they know that...

The markets were up 30 percent in Obama's first year. They were up 23.9 percent in Trump's first year and have steadily declined the past several months.

Trump might have kept the markets going up if not for his self-inflicted trade war, which is already costing American jobs and causing market instability.

So, we should stay the course of China charging us a 25% tax on our goods imported there, while we continue charging them a 2.5% tax on their goods imported here? We have been giving this country away for far too long.

It's so good to have a president brave enough, and smart enough to level the playing field on this detrimental trade gap. Did you hear what Chuck Todd said today? "Trump is winning while democrats are reeling". Maybe some liberals are starting to see the light.

How's that working out so far? Canada has imposed additional tariffs. China has imposed additional tariffs. Mexico and Europe both considering new tariffs.

US companies are already laying off workers and moving jobs overseas as a result. Soybean and corn farmers are asking for new government welfare. There's buzz that the Trump administration will start to buy back crops later this year to keep farms from going bankrupt, just as they did in the 70s.

Trump is winning in his mind and in the mind of his loyalists. The biggest thing he has done is stirred up a hornets nest among libs in this country. Dems got complacent when Obama was in office, but I've seen people ready to vote now who haven't voted in 30 years. If the abortion issue or same-sex marriage gets brought up again, young people will be lined up to vote. Trump will always have blind loyalty among his usual 35-38%, but that leaves about 2/3 of the country voting for somebody else.

The Trump cult hasn't made much noise lately about how great the tariffs are working, so anybody want to chime in on this?

https://www.politico.com/story/2018/07/24/trump-farmers-bailout-reaction-republicans-congress-737517

Since most Trump folk only get their news from boot-licker Hannity: Trump has just promised $12 billion in taxpayer handouts and welfare to farmers to cover the losses on Trump's self-imposed trade war with China.

Remind me, ya'll still hate this kind of socialist stuff, right?
